So many factors could break the ceasefire at any point - the UN security council needs to keep up the pressure that got us this deal in Sweden last week, @peterJsalisbury tells CNN

'The ceasefire is supposed to be governorate wide so it's across the entire governorate not just the city, where you've got lots of little front lines and flashpoints, lots of places where you could have one little gunshot that could lead to rapid escalation.' 2/5
The big fear was that a battle for Hodeidah port and city would cut off this vital trade corridor that brings in around 70% of all goods shipped into Yemen. 3/5
This deal hasn't been so much about making things better as preventing things from getting sharply worse. A week ago, the UN released data explaining that around 250,000 people were starving to death and the loss of the port would have increased that number significantly. 4/5
The hope is that if the port becomes a demilitarized zone, allowing trade to flow into it more freely, lowering prices in local markets and helping people with the hunger crisis. 5/5
