The EU already has, or is negotiating, FTAs with nearly all of Latin America. The EU will ALWAYS get a better FTA than the UK. The best deal for Britain is to remain in the EU.pic.twitter.com/MtNTX0Y4z3

The EU already has, or is negotiating, FTAs with nearly all of Latin America. As an EU member, UK trade directly benefits of these FTA's and other agreements.pic.twitter.com/vBtMXEfMM7
If trade volumes are low, could that simply mean UK has not much to sell to these countries? What do you think the UK will trade after brexit with Latin America that it couldn't trade now?
Or few countries in Latin America have any money to buy our offerings. See the caravan of thousands seeking survival in the USA.
Excellent point: Average GDP per capita: Latin America and Caribbean:$8335.39 Europe $37800 US: $59495 China: $16636 These figures paint a picture on its own.
Are you aware of how many years trade agreements take to put together? Are you also aware that volume of trade typically decreases with geographical distance? You’re proposing ditching trade agreements with our closest neighbours in the hope of maybe trading with SA? For real?
proposing ditching trade deals that weren't designed for us, for ones that are.
Utter cobblers. We are an equal partner in the EU trade deals. How much clout do you imagine we have as a small country that’s currently scaring away businesses and investors with Brexit madness?
Did you know how big the UK economy is? Are you for real?
Brexit is torpedoing our economy or have you not heard about the exodus of businesses or prominent Brexiteer Mr Dylan deciding to build his electric cars in Singapore rather than UK so that he may trade with EU. EU and Singapore just signed a trade deal, you know.
Brexit is not torpedoing anything. Brexit hasn't been defined. You're referring to an EU prolonged, uncertainty. It's not an 'exodus'; he's not leaving, it's a new plant and if you're reasoning was correct the plant would be in the EU. Utterly bizarre that you would suggest it.
Dyson has already said the plant is going to be in Singapore for easier access to the Asian market - naff all to do with Brexit!
The point is that he decided to build the cars there and not here, as was originally expected.
What's stopping uk doing more business now from within the EU? What R we going to sell more of to S.America outside of the EU that we can't now exactly? What a lot of nonsense and poppycock these people spout
To late the dastardly deal is done as is The Great Brexit Betrayal by Theresa May & Co backed by gutless wonders who backed the party !ine and middle finger to 17.4 million leave voters . Disgraceful behaviour they can look to their laurels next GE
There might be a reasons why trade is low with South America but I don’t think a significant one is EU Membership. I have not noticed any issues trading with China. What areas of trade are going to benefit? Are there any papers I could read from HMG that give more details?
We do great trade with South America 7 billion in 2015 but we need to leave the Eu to really push the boat out Brazil is the next big one we must take advantage of leaving
Selling to countries in political upheaval and with huge corruption problems on the other side of the world is such a great idea to ditch our closest friends and allies for! What a bunch of unforgivable fools we are run by these days in the UK
Your a citizen of the Eu not everywhere you want to put tariffs on everywhere else
