Majority of oil/gas imported is from Norway. Saudi - we import 5%. 83% of all arms exports go to Saudi - sizeable chunk. Major British companies are dlivering service industries and infrastructure projects in SA. Therefore the relationship seems stronger than these figures?

Did you include the political benefits? Money is only one part of that equation.

One of the 'so-called' benefits of working with Saudi Arabia:https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/sep/29/uk-and-saudi-arabia-in-secret-deal-over-human-rights-council-place …

Omg, the lightspeed turn of CH's previous sucking up to Saudi Barbaria amazes! This shows that what CH actually care about is a single person they might have met socially, and not the millions of Syrians & Yemenis who have suffered for years from Saudi Barbaria's depredations!

The Labour Party should call for an inquiry into this whole Yemen affair. Some of the poorest people on the planet have been bombed into near oblivion. The human cost is horrific.

What do you think of labour voting not to intervene in Syria leading to mass slaughter by Russia and Assad? Or are you picky with the location of your virtu signalling?
