The real problem isn’t the 400% purchase.. the problem is we’re not recycling.. a huge recycling campaign (to the 3rd world) would beneficial..

Actually it probably is overproduction & our willingness to buy more stuff & fill rented storage lockers. Some recycling works. But consider single-use plastics. Ramp up production & exhort people to recycle, but no one wants end-product. Similar problem w/ hand-me-downs. Rwanda?
