I think this is quite important. Thank you for sharing your experience! It seems to me that anger is hard partly because it is especially prone to cling to stories. It really does feel like one is mad "at" their spouse, rather than "mad, with my spouse as my current target".

The only thing that works for me is using that high-energy state to forcefully remind myself to create spaciousness and deal with the energy non-conceptually. Let it transmute into clarity, or love, or the force of pure water element, or whatever your favorite frame is.
