Chase: it’s a little strange that you keep relying on the same, singularly critical voice in here to make these proclamations. Did you report these things out or it’s fine not to bother on Twitter?

Do you, as
@BrooklynDA spox, think that a felony charge was appropriate in this case? -
Like you, I don’t know all the facts so not willing to jump to conclusions.

I have full confidence in
@DrRJKavanagh's reporting. You aren't suggesting that one must have direct and exhaustively researched firsthand knowledge about something in order to form an opinion, are you? -
I’m suggesting that it’s weird that you’d base your entire assessment of a newly elected official based on accounts of the one public defender (among many in here) who repeatedly has these subjective accounts (some were shown to be incomplete at best)
-
Is this an official denial from the
@BrooklynDA's office that this defendant was charged with a felony? -
I mean, you're not just a random guy on twitter, you're the offical spox of
@BrooklynDA. If there's a factual error in what@DrRJKavanagh tweeted from court, please do correct it–it's your job, no? -
this idea that Kavanagh is a "singularly critical voice" of BKDA almost made me choke on my coffee. lmao
