Where in the interview did he say he supports ACA repeal? There’s no reason to believe he wants people to lose Medicaid coverage.

He's the Surgeon General for a president who campaigned on ACA repeal and continues to push for ACA repeal, and I read this part of the interview as support for ACA repealpic.twitter.com/sl2Oxfamhk

And I don't think politics here is like a scientific study worthy of finely parsing assumptions; anyone who choses to ornament this administration is more than tacitly backing its goals, ACA repeal among them front and center.

But wait I’ll be talking about this myself soon! There is meaningful difference between “crack babies” 80s to “I understand this crisis bc one of my relatives had a **tobacco** addiction” (as SG says here). About one quarter fewer people in prison for drugs, for example.
-
Yes, there are plenty of differences! But widely held belief that we've turned the corner to a public health approach to opioids, now that it's a white problem, is mostly fiction

But looking forward to hearing/reading your thoughts on this!

And to your response!
