It's pretty obvious, having them on Tuesday's is a vote suppressor. It's not like folks don't get this, they absolutely do.

I do worry if moving elections to weekends would block (working class) people who work weekends from turning out as much as those who don't.

Lol aren't there countries that demand businesses close on Election Day? Not a perfect solution but it's surely better than status quo imo.
