@ChMadar you don't think there's use in going after gunmaker profits?

@chezrebellion Very little use in it. The macho hysteria that fuels gun-nuttery can only be quelled by reducing real economic insecurity. -
@ChMadar at some point you have to start going after weapons makers, no? making huge profits for sales here, and plenty on foreign conflict -
@chezrebellion I don't know much about gun industry but are domestic handgun makers also selling AK47s abroad? Could be! In any case, taxes… -
@chezrebellion …& regs on weapons mfr'ing are preferable (when possible!) than impact litigation which more likely to arouse nasty backlash.

@ChMadar agree, but what would the way be? only think I can think of would be to encourage lots of black people to buy guns a la CA 1967. -
@davidminpdx Ha! That sure worked like magic then, didn't it? I don't see any quick solution. Country sharply divided by region on this too. -
@ChMadar even the things that gun control activists are fighting for (and can't get) are meaningless crumbs. That issue = hopeless. -
@davidminpdx Yeah it does look hopeless–though set against backdrop of lower homicide rate nation-wide, pace media panic…

@ChMadar I'm appalled by your outrageous attack on trial lawyers and NGO administrators. Where would the Dem Party be without them? Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
