And this revenge porn guy plainly did do wrong, and is not at all sympathetic. But he & people like him deserve justice–not crazy sentences.

@ChMadar It sickens me when some progressives get a blood lust for retributive punishment. Totally inhumane, marginal affect on recidivism. -
@ChMadar Also, when I talk to conservatives, you'd expect that a "Christian Nation" would be more willing to forgive. Guess not.

@ChMadar did you see sentence for ATL teachers in cheating scandal? http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/02/us/verdict-reached-in-atlanta-school-testing-trial.html …; "a felony that carries up to 20 years in prison" -
@ethanbrown72 Yes. Appalling. And of course these people did wrong but the felony convictions seem just out of hand.

@ChMadar The men who posted the porn are creeps. The man who set up a website to make money from it is evil. -
@willshome Who disagrees with that? The alternative to an 18 year sentence is not "nothing". Punishment is apt; shouldn't be an add'l evil. -
@ChMadar 2-3 years would be derisory. The women have been sentenced for longer than that.
