Why do so few American progs look to Germany's high-wage economy as model for US? Not perfect, but social democracy in a comparable nation.
@wegianshooter All true, but they're still comparably sized economies, societies–Germany as what a social-dem USA *could* be.

@ChMadar@wegianshooter soc dem doesn't solve many ills, what it does do - well - is establish structures in which solutions are possible -
@ChMadar@wegianshooter ie to list all the social evils still afflicting eu nations may be true but still not a point against soc dem per se -
