The tone of this video is also akin to PSAs about how a human should take caution against easily startled and deadly wild animals.

Not being funny, but Black people have had to deal with this level of treatment for a very long time. It's only when white people get harassed that it's suddenly deemed as 'police state'.

It's still disproportionately nonwhite people getting harassed by cops. White people are just becoming more aware of how racist and authoritarian US policing practices are.

hi Arthur, absolutely. Harassed at best of times. Killed at worst. It happens in UK 24/7, which you prob know. Racial stereotyping only leads to one thing & that's NOT GOOD ENOUGH for our publicly funded institutions to behave. We must take a stand for our liberties & rights

Cops should be required to take regular training in deescalation. Teach them how to deescalate to better deal with volatile situations.

As a special ed teqcher I had extensive training in deescalation tactics for aggressive students. I'm probably trained more than the cops to work with autistic teens.

Lets all pretend that we have to behave in an unreasonable manner to not get killed by the police so we can make it seem like it's really hard... This way we can then act like cops are a bunch of violent murderous assholes. So we can virtue signal to minorities. -leftists

We’re not reacting to it for us, we’re reacting to the fact that police think the people they are supposed to serve need help staying ALIVE when being stopped for something as small as speeding, or even nothing at all. It’s disgraceful.

That's exactly my point actually. You're reacting to this now because it is a reality to you now. This video has been the reality for poc for hundreds of years. Cops have expected us to do this and be responsible for them not killing us for 400 years.
