When people say Medicare for all is there an assumption that there will be massive structural changes as well? I hate the current system but MCFA would help nothing if supply side issues, prices, ect aren't address

imo the expansion of Medicare is _inseparable_ from those massive structural changes about pharma, device and procedure pricing, IP law, medical education and much else.

I've never met a #MedicareForAll advocate, and I've met many, for whom cutting costs by eliminating private insurance middlemen, using monopsony power to bargain down Rx drug prices, wasn't a crucial part of the program
