No need to give him props but spreading his message is good, because it shows Republican opposition to a Republican administration's policy. Not surprised he's too scared to do anything real about it, though.

It’s not opposition if he doesn’t do anything about it, unless he signs onto a bill or puts his own legislation he’s blowing smoke.

While that's largely true, public opinions matters, so it matters that we point out that voices on both sides of the aisle are speaking out against this awful practice by the Republican administration. His opinion carries more weight with half the US than yours or mine.
