1. Absolutely. I highly doubt it is going to come from Trump however, whose demonization of black and brown men is so central to his political support. Trump is far more likely to dispense clemency reality TV style, where he displays absolute power to dispense mercy.

You are surely right. But it would be sweet if, just to give Sessions a heart attack, Trump granted mass clemency to tens of thousands of federal prisoners. (Not gonna happen, I know)
