How do we determine that our current form of government isn't one of the best models, just executed poorly? It seems like Code For America and USDS are trying to solve for just making the current version work better

could def be the case. but historically it seems like tech changes how things work vs just adding tech to the existing thing. eg encarta online vs wikipedia or all those apps for yellow cabs vs uber or hilton’s website vs airbnb, etc.

Estonia seems like a country that wants to use tech to make gov better but can’t reinvent gov (EU, etc.) so they’re left with optimizing.
