1/ It's amazing to think that at this "late stage" of the Internet there are still Amazon-scale opportunities being started this decade that are enabled primarily by the existence of the Internet.

2/ These things couldn't have been built two decades ago. They exist only because of all the progress, platforms, and technologies that have been built in the intervening decades to make the Internet more accessible and useful.

Half the world doesn’t have the internet yet. They also don’t have access to good government, education, healthcare, banking, etc. So many things left to build...
