    The next phase of restoring the back to its natural and true historic state of an acid oak woodland has started this week. The project aims to gradually remove non-native trees over a period time so native oak trees can be planted or allowed to grow back naturally.

    The Charnwood Shed allows older residents to socialise, learn & offer out practical skills, tools & resources to others. They are running an open afternoon to offer tours and answer questions from residents who are interested in joining. 🕐Monday November 8, 2021. 1pm-3pm

    We’ve temporarily closed the children’s play area & toilets at the Outwoods until Nov 24 while the next phase of the restoration project starts. Due to the large machinery and vehicles moving on site we’ve had to close them for people’s safety. Apologies for any inconvenience.
