Are we deciding on merits of leave or stay in EU;or which tone of campaign+lead voices we prefer? Why is no one pointing out the difference?

Feels like @montypython Life of Brian, choosing 'tribe' -not using independent, individual thought. "We're all different" "I'm not" "shh!"

surely own individual Assesment of objective risks+facts shldnt be determined by tone of others talking about them?

Agree. In truth I think "tone" is a euphemism. It's the xenophobic content of the leave campaign that is a problem.

But agree that an assessment of benefits and risks of staying/leaving the best way to determine your vote.

I don't understand all the consequences, but the vast majority of politicians and commentators I trust say REMAIN.

exactly. Think it's sad when ppl say "I'm voting in 'cos I don't like Farage". Neither do I, but it's not about him!

I think worries about tone are highlighting people's anxiety about what leaving would actually be like, what effects wld be on UK
