@Voicetheunion well when I was nursing they signed over the right to strike, I recall the moment vividly. Hardly a union! -
@technologytotea - works both ways, problem is conflict of roles and interests. Essential Coll.of Teaching doesn't encroach on Union roles. -
@CLeslieMP so what was wrong with the GTC then? Why did that not enhance the status of teaching?

@technologytotea if teachers don't want a RCoT, it won't happen. Mustn't be driven by politicians,but teachers, to DE-politicise teaching.
