Oh! I had good news yesterday! Aye Fair Lady, my daft musical game, was @GrundislavGames's "Judge's Pick" for the judged part of Adventure Jam this year, so that's cool!!! @Powerhoof won the fancy Developer's choice award and quite right too.

There's a few walk-throughs on YT and I've just watched AFL probably a dozen times. I think it plays well. Lots of ground to build on, too.
-
I think it's because my stuff is so focused around character and dialogue, plus I try to make sure there's an actual story arc, it probably feels like it would pretty easily shift to a more passive medium?
-
Agreed. Everyone has distinctive dialog, a goal is plainly stated. And I like seeing the dialog choices b/c I'd imagine that's what Steggy is thinking to herself.
-
Yeah. They're her choices. It's one of the benefits of the medium, really, that. It lets you cram in a whole bunch of extra jokes and character stuff. :)
-
Has anyone noted how odd it is for Bertrella to say (sing) that they've been best friends all their lives, but Steggy didn't have her phone number before now?
-
They're in their early twenties. They have literally never called each other on their phones before.
-
ALSO Steggy stole her phone from someone quite recently. It's not got any numbers in it yet.
-
At least, it doesn't have numbers of anyone Steggy knows.
