Also— most millennials have some drunken college selfies or nudes or something ACTUALLY salacious lurking somewhere. As more millennials get elected, these are all going to become “so what” scandals because they’ll be so common

It's like Ted Cruz thinking they were owning Beto with his old punk-band pictures--plus the sexist element of "A young woman having fun is obviously an airhead." It's this particular blindness that they're unable to see when they're making their adversaries look better.
-
Totally. Like “SHOCKING EVIDENCE that so-and-so was once fun and hip!! DONT LOOK, they’re SO COOL you might GO BLIND!!” Hating fun is a winning message!!
-
The thing that gnaws at me a bit though is.... for them, it might actually be a winning message! Isn't this what all Republican messaging boils down to? Grievance, resentment, envy. There may be enough millions of conservatives in all the right districts for this to still work
-

@AOC please please please you should totally upload a 2019 remake of the dance, filmed at the Capitol grounds with one of your freshman colleagues, celebrating your inauguration :D -
That would be amazing.............. However we would need all the EMTs in the capitol to be on standby for the resultant pearl-clutching-induced heart attacks.....

There’s not a single reasonable person under 35 who has a problem with her dancing.
-
And several of us that are a good bit older than that too.
-
Thank you!!! This 64 year old and her footloose buddies are planning to flash mob that dance!!
