listen. you can never be 100% sure of a release date, maybe they missjudged how much work it requires or maybe something unpredictable happend which caused developmemt time to increase. better delay it than rushing it

What should actually be a thing of the past is game devs being pressured to work unhealthy and unsafe hours and burn themselves out to meet a deadline. Burnout ruins your physical and mental health. It's better to delay a product than to destroy your staff to hit a deadline.
