Thank you! Fared Zakaria & Van Jones, please take note. In fact, NY Times, WaPo take note.

Chris Matthews too...

Dana Bash also

Yes! Dana Bash reflexively normalizes Trump.

So annoying.

Looking at you
@VanJones68 -
Word!!!!
-
Yup. I have never listened to a word Van Jones has said ever since that infamous ‘tonight he became presidential’ BS. Lost ALL credibility. All of it.pic.twitter.com/iz0UORXRdY

That was an awful moment and take. I hope Van can learn from it because I think he’s salvageable. Unity in a crisis is good. Normalizing bigots does not help with that, even though rallying behind the flag is what you may feel is most important.
-
I personally value critical thinking in a crisis more than unity, but I understand other people feel differently and I see the value of the approach. Just don’t let it play you, Van.

Be prepared. It began in print media over the weekend. Not only that but the NYT published a pro-Stephen Miller piece. This is how Germany normalized its fascist government leader in the 1930s.
-
I have been preaching this since Nov 8!
-
The NYT ran the story with this headline: “The Necessity of Stephen Miller.” I haven’t read it yet because it makes me too angry. I can only think of the necessity of firing Stephen Miller.

Did you one better. Thought of the necessity just now of killing my subscription to
@nytimes dot com, until it’s determined who owns/runs/edits/writes it. And I’m an old newspaper editor.

Even if the economy is good (thanks very much to
@BarackObama) JayZ made the point in his interview; it's not all about that. Equality, being treated with respect, gun violence, war and peace, these all matter and Trump is making these much worse. And the rich get richer. -
Definitely get the impression that Trump/supporters/GOP think that more money is the only thing that matters to voters. So many more issues.
-
& it's not like it's money 4 everyone. It's only 4 high mid class, the 2%, & corporations.
