@CharlesMBlow @jpsherman your forgetting the billions in debt the auto bailout required. This wasn't a bailout.

@DamonGochneaur yup. debt was incurred & we ended up losing ~9B on TARP - but > 1M jobs were saved - not a perfect plan C+/B-

@jpsherman just doesn't feel apples to apples. I'm all about job retention, but at what cost. Bailouts just delay the inevitable imho.
