Also, once again, exit polls show a majority of white women voting for Trump. (Important note: Pew analysis of actual votes in 2016 showed that it wasn’t a majority but was a plurality.)

White people voting for the preservation of white supremacy is *not* voting against their best interest. They're running towards it in greater and greater numbers. They value maintaining their absurd level of control in America above all other issues, and are voting accordingly.
