Bless you Alanah, press censorship is so obvious when you read it. And this is definitely one of those censhorship articles. Higher-Ups probably forced their people to write and publish this but they're the ones who are then made responsible for the backlash from it.

No point in being angry at the staff. Makes about as much sense as being mad at a news reporter just because they happen to be the person delivering the bad news. At the end of the day there's nothing IGN can do about it, we need to focus the anger towards our politicians.
This statement would make sense if stuff like the IGN Israel stuff didn't go down, but now it just seems forced and out of IGN's hands as a whole. Especially after looking into Israel myself, this was not a natural move.

If I worked there and had a moral compass and actually was a little aware of what's actually happening, I might have to resign over this. Nothing like the cooperate overlords to completely stomp all over your work & ideas to bring up morale.
While I understand that sentiment, I don’t think it’s reasonable to demand that of people who are already extremely underpaid working in a competitive field with limited job opportunities during the pandemic. I hope nobody pushes to hold the staff to that standard.

While I don’t think they’d remove it anyway, it’s worth noting that IGN Israel is a franchisee. It’s not run by the same editorial team (they don’t even communicate) and may as well be an entirely different website that just pays for IGN branding.
