Let's clarify something: THIS IS NOT PLATONIC. IT IS ROMANTIC. "TE AMO" IS NEVER PLATONIC LOVE. THAT'S "TE QUIERO." Subtitles say "don't do this, Cas" in Spanish. Yet Dean's dubbing actor says "yo a ti, Cas." That's "& I you, Cas." How could this have happened? Well.

It is RUMORED via solid leaks that Jensen did ADR for the phone call scene–aka had to record the sound of him crying later to cover something. This would likely have been covering a "me too." Also, remember: the ep was originally titled "The Truth" & this changed to "Despair."

I have not tweeted about this because there wasn't substantially solid proof YET. I tweet responsibly lol. But now... In Latin America, Dean says "me too" instead of "don't do this." Meaning we can extrapolate, at minimum, that at one point a "me too" was scripted SOMEWHERE.

Lines don't end up in foreign dubs by accident, & dubs (to my knowledge) have to be approved. Lines have origins. They don't MAKE STUFF UP. So what remains to be seen is if Latin America moved the "me too" up, from phone call scene to this, & managed to get that approval.

So, here is the takeaway: Somehow things got meddled with in US release, especially for
#Destiel content. This is potentially one instance of many in 15x18-20. This is proof. It's not a conspiracy to say that. There was a "me too" intended. We didn't get it.#TheySilencedYouShow this thread -
& so... get ready to get organized lol. If more things continue to come out–& we have to hope & expect they will–that's the time when a fandom would want to trend & make some legitimate noise. Stand by, spread this, & all that jazz. DON'T @ CORPORATE ACCOUNTS OR USE THEIR #

Oh, & would you look at that: according to this person on Tumblr, in Spain, the episode was still titled "La Verdad." The Truth.

Clarification via
@judgehangman: It's safe to assume that "Me too" would've ended up in Latin America's version by someone transcribing audio from an original scene, not an original script. And then, again: that line likely was moved up, timing-wise.#TheySilencedYou#Destielpic.twitter.com/rWMcWJwvbW

Coda for MORE clarification lmao, thank you I'm adding all this so people have full context of potentials, but the reality is simply that "me too" existed in there somewhere, as I said above. Where? Who is to say, etc. But it has an English origin.https://twitter.com/luxshine/status/1331493202575065093 …

Again, cannot emphasize enough: do not use official hashtags. Do not engage with the corporate tweets/accounts. Do not give them your money. This is the only way you "win" against networks.

Adding this here: • People are also using
#TheySilencedThem. I suggest using both at this point.#TheySilencedYou • As the tumblr post says, other people are trying to organized further plans of action and receipts against the#RancidNutwork. Keep an eye out in later days.Show this thread -
