Guessing it’s beneficial to subscribers that are subscribed to a lot of creators. If someone is subscribed to 100 people who each stop 3 videos a day; that’s 300 videos they get notified for.

This is Pure and Total Bs. This results in KILLING a channel. Don't you want channels to get Watch Time and Views? The people SUBSCRIBED to that Channel to WATCH that Channel's Content. This Makes ZERO SENSE

I remember a
@BarbaraEMac interview with "Notification" guru. One concern was minizing things that have resulted in the user choosing to disable notification app entirely. If several "bell clicked" channels publish a video at the same. May result in not all notifications de;ivedThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I never get notifications even when I do ring the bell... I have to scroll through my sub box every like 5 hours and put the videos I want to watch in a watch later playlist lmfao YouTube is trash right now

Personally I'm subbed to over 500 channels and don't want 300-500 notifications a day. But that bell notification is bs.
-
Exactly. I have my gmail on my yt with notifications turned on for years now and racked up over 60k unread emails.
