Today marks the first year since the "3 week to flatten the curve". What have we learned? Lockdowns do not work.

We had a lockdown and became Covid free in a couple of months. They work if you don’t start them too late, lift them too early, keep the borders open and unchecked, send students to university, send people in care homes home, give clear unambiguous messages around the rules.

I think in the beginning and for the first five or six months we could of done better, but we are getting our act together now and doing ok. normality is almost here, all be it a different normality.
