As much as I support everyone's right to define their gender and sexual identity, 'physics which underpin the universe' have not been shown to change. To theorize that they could is relatively common, but there has never been evidence that would have survived close scrutiny.

Our understanding of them, however, has changed multiple times. Who is to say our understanding of sex and gender could be irrevocably changed tomorrow by some major discover?
