@TeamYouTube - Question, is it safe to assume that fake views don't get counted for monetization and actually bring your CPM down to troubling levels? If so, how do you protect yourself from competitors/fans/haters who send fake views to your channel to jeopardize your hard work?
Views are showing up on the watch page, however, the CPM is ridiculously low. I mean < 10% of what I've read the bottom of the range should be. We've seen some tremendous growth but have made something viral and relevant to deserve it. Not sure if botting or foul play is in play

If the views are counted and displayed in the watch page, does that indicate that they are valid views? If so, what a relief! Now however, why is my CPM way below normal when monetization is fully active/green? Who can assist to identify what I could be doing wrong? Cert.Cnsltnt?
