Yes you *could* do this anywhere on earth right now. But, where would be the better choice? A city where most everyone is unarmed and you know nothing will be done about it, or a city where everyone is likely armed and you will be caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent?

Where do you live that shoplifters are regularly executed on sight?

Really not sure how a couple of you are so confused by this. I never said anything about "executing shoplifters" I was making a point that in cities where most are unarmed and they decriminalize shoplifting you're going to get more of it. Criminals seek out easy targets.

what use is a firearm in a shoplifting without the threat of killing the shoplifter with it? Like, what exactly is it about an armed cashier or whoever that make a shop a harder target if not the threat of killing whoever steals some shit?

The firearm ensures you will not face resistance from the criminal. Its usually quite effective, which is why the woke thieves want it taken away.

Well to your simple mind that's what you would conclude. But to people who understand the written English language, the firearm ensures that the criminal does not escape his day in Court. If he complies with being arrested, he will face only the verdict of that Court.
