I'm not talking GP, I'm looking bigger picture. What are you talking about? SI has Mist's Call, Scribe of Sorrows, and the Rekindler -- all become devalued due to Minimorph. Silence is not allowed to target champions (Purify) and if it is (Hush) it's limited to the round.

Idk, hon. What I've been trying to say is that Mini, despite being burst & "uninteractive", doesn't prevent a healthy meta game. And trust me, Mini being fast would be much worse than at burst as it functions as "stat locker" & therefore create a new form of uninteractability

1/2 Changing to Fast just means all the existing tool kits for countering or dodging become valid. If the problem is "those are too good' address that Vs removing interactivity.

2/2 The problem is not that it's existence (as a single card) prevents a healthy meta. The problems: -It creates feel bad moments -If you dislike removal, enjoy combo centric decks there is zero recourse in over coming the card -Is a slippery slope of escalation in removal

I genuinely agree with all of those points. But as I believe I've said and so has the LoR design team (multiple times), the speed of Mini is related to design, not balance. So you can ask for a mana increase but not for it to be fast. 1/2

There is a reason why silences & freezes are burst or slow. They can't be healthy as a fast spell due to how those mechanics work in LoR therefore that wouldn't be the correct approach to tackle the issue of mini, which I believe is completely fine, from a balance standpoint. 2/2

I know you've brought this up before, but IMO the silence aspect of Minimorph is to me a 'minor' aspect. All that does is allow it to counter spell shield. You could remove the silent aspect and that would be a good start for making it slightly weaker as well.

Design-wise, this wouldn't be possible. It would create weird interactions, most unwanted. If we wanted a nerf in speed, it would have to be slow, unfortunately, which would probably kill the card. The same feel-bad problem would be applied in different scenarios if it were fast

Yes, Slow would destroy it. Oh, and in my previous comment, removing Silent would also allow Barrier to remain, which does suck as well. I'd love a break down of what changing the speed to fast and removing silence would do. What weird interactions?

Well, basically any buff that they gain from another source than base stats/keywords stays when a unit is transformed into another. You could check that interaction with Concurrent Timelines where a buffed unit preserves its buffs even after transformation

Ah... Seems like changing it to: Killing a unit and summon a 3/3 in it's place. Would work around this but there might be other more complications (behind the scene tech) that makes that harder to do.
