I love playing wizards. I'm discovering that I don't love playing high-level wizards. It SUCKS to have your high-powered abilities just become Legendary Resistance sponges while everyone else gets to DO things. You only get one action, no multiple attacks, etc. 1/
From a high level pacing lens, is it not okay that 'some fights' favor the melee classes and 'other fights' favor the spell caster? Could this be a case of the GM not taking a balanced approach? Or is this more a design/book issue of the high level monsters being anti-caster?

This will always be an issue with high-level creatures. Especially bosses. Unless the DM handwaves it, it’s going to be a recurrent situation.
