Your camera is trucking to the left instead of panning. It also is holding for the big creature instead of keeping track of the hero. Think of the camera as someone who's watching the hero, but does not know what the hero is going to do. So they'll be slightly behind the action.

When the hero climbs up, the camera almost instantly follows instead of letting the hero lead, then follow. Staying low here and tilting up would help emphasis the size and then follow up.

As practice, take your phone camera and try to capture video of someone doing 'action' that you're not sure what they're going to do but you're trying to anticipate what they might be doing.
