Something I've been talking about a lot recently with my friends is how many people in the game industry seem to suffer from imposter syndrome, where they believe they don't deserve credit or plaudits for what they've accomplished.

Absolutely. It can be SO intimidating once you start to grasp the vastness and complexity of making games (as I imagine it would for any kind of art). I think the best response is to think in terms of how much room you have to grow and how much you can do if you keep learning

I try to remind myself that often, no one knows what they're doing (especially when creating something new). We're all just 'winging it' as best we can. Make educated guesses (and/or doing research), etc. 100% -- Never stop learning. Never stop improving.
