Thinking more. I totally agree. The milestone 'recommendations' in ToA are super soft and they don't really set up a GM for success. I ended up having to do more work asking myself the question, "When should I give them a milestone" and come up with answers on my own.

Fairly close, but I do feel like the 'story' bonus EXP is pretty stingy. I'm also a huge fan of you get EXP for 'overcoming' monsters not just fighting them. So if you can tame, hide, run from a stegosaurus, then you are still awarded the EXP.
