It's such a good game with really smart systems. I am shocked it's not more popular, if not among players at least among devs.
I found the tutorial lacking in both pacing and content, which turned me off... maybe prematurely. Also my goals seemed to all be lacking and fairly cosmetic. Granted I was playing solo.

I think the updates (which includes a tutorial now) have made a big difference. I didn't start playing until after a couple major updates which apparently added not only a lot of content but a lot of the extra reinforcement between existing systems that I find key to the fun.
