So @AnnaBarlog and I are finally watching The Handmaid’s Tale because apparently we thought it would pair well with current state of American politics.

Cinematography is amazing. There use of depth of field is really fitting. But overall the show is so dark for me that, I just can’t do it. So I play games while my wife watches.

I was clinically depressed, severely so, a few years ago, and I wasn't able to watch anything that wasn't colorful and optimistic. After that I still thread lightly with shows like this, but ended up loving it. Would have nearly killed me back then though.

It is one of the free shows that I can't watch more than one episode at one go! It is so dark and heavy on the heart
