I like the competition. It was great back when we had GameStop and Electronics Boutique and Babbage’s all in a race to provide the best service. It’s exclusivity, and the fact that the store is tied up with online services and friends lists that makes it more annoying now.
I liked that Origin had the ability to import your friends list from Steam, that made it pretty painless. Granted Origin has lots of other improvements that need to be made. I guess as a developer I like seeing the PC digital store monopoly get toppled.

I’m 100% in favor of competition. I just want a magic version that doesn’t have any complications and annoyances for me as a customer :)
