A) Romney on some GOPers disputing Biden won: I do believe that it's important for us as Republicans in particular to point out that the big lie is simply that, a lie. That Joe Biden won the election, fair and square.

B) Romney: As long as we continue to pretend like the lie is something other than a lie, then they shouldn't be divided. When people are saying, oh we need to have unity, and at the same time, they don't recognize that the lie, is what's causing the disunity

What Romney is saying is simple and basic and obviously true. The fact that so many Republicans resist doing something so straightforward as acknowledging the results of an election shows how hard it will be for the party to ever find its way back to the real world.

The minute I hear the word unity I want to vomit. Btw, in that piece Nebraska senator Sasse wrote for The Atlantic he never used the word unity. Probably because he knows it’s a weasel word for can we just move on so I don’t have to take a stand.
