I disagree. But I’m sorry you feel that way.

They admitted it. Go look at the replies from YouTube to comments. They did turn it off on purpose. They would rather control what we see than allow us to enjoy the search features. This is just a fact. Smaller channels will get less views now. That is a side effect.pic.twitter.com/ycQdDyqb8J

Every website has a terms of service. Nothing new there. You agreed to a contract to be on YouTube. Everyone did.

YouTube if anything is too lax and too free and it has created massive problems for 99% of creators based on the actions of a few bad actors. Telecommunications and broadcast capabilities were not accessible to normies a few years ago. I’m shocked it’s this free as it is.

My God dude, you are arguing for less free speech being allowed from a platform that basicaly has a monopoly? That is such a bad idea and dangerous path. You are on the dark side trying to control people. More information is almost never bad. Get smart before it is too late...

I have zero issue on YouTube. I say whatever I want on the platform. I have 100% freedom to create whatever I wish so long as it isn’t porn or graphic violence. And I don’t know about you but I am not interested in creating either of those things

Congradulations. You don’t have a problem. Many of us do though. How about you show some empathy instead of being a popus dick about it. Plus, taking away the search filters will mean you get less views too because a number of people find channel that way. You don’t get it...

Exactly what problems are you facing? If you’re attempting to produce pornographic or graphically violent material on YouTube, I’m glad you’re struggling. You’re being pretty ambiguous as to what your actual problems are.

No I am not. This is just about the search filters not working so it is hard to find new things. All of these filters have been turned off:pic.twitter.com/SjwpqPM3OT

What does this have to do with your comments regarding free speech? It’s not unusual for companies to disable a feature when a problem arises until they are able to fix the problem. That’s not a limitation of free speech.

Because many smaller creators can literally only be found by new viewers by using the search filters. Those people no longer have a way to grow. I also can not find the newest Jaxson Hayes videos who is my favorite college player and that sucks.
