I think he set his legacy when he refused to cave and let Obama appoint the anti-2A activist judge -- Merrick Garland. By doing this... He saved the 2A.. The SCOTUS was split 4-4 on DC vs. Heller after Scalia's sudden death... This was his greatest achievement.

I did notice when voting in Texas last year that almost every judiciary position on the ballot had a Democrat grabbler running unopposed. The grabblers have been doing this for years. They’ve infiltrated every aspect of the judiciary.
