Def of charity- the voluntary giving of help, typically in the form of money, to those in need. What
@pulte does is random giveaways. I don't give a crud, but it's not charity unless the people are in need. This is more a lottery with a person picking a winner. -
Well said. Further, a philanthropist is transparent about their intentions. They don’t block people who ask legitimate questions.

I like you Mike. I bought your book a couple years back. Regarding Pulte, the charitable giving is great, but that doesn’t exclude him from inspection. Attacking Gretchen is really weird. She seems completely genuine.

If he quit today, he's already done more to help strangers than anyone I've ever seen on Twitter. He's legit. I won $100 early in his giveaways. (Gave it all to local charity.) I can't even imagine how much total giving he's inspired here.

It's true. He didn't help me personally, but some in the group helped me pay my rent when I missed work because of car issues & my son's surgery. Now I have something to drive albeit a junker, I'm back to work and have hope.

Being hateful is uncalled for, however, questioning someone's motives whilst seeming harsh is sadly necessary these days. Unfortunately there are some who use 'charity work' to give themselves a 'good guy' public profile, as cover for some pretty awful, nefarious stuff.
