Because most of you have terrible taste in music, I’ll post some tracks and set lists.
Will be blocking anyone who posts their terrible music or thinks no one heard of the Moody Blues.
Only @davereaboi and @milkncooks are allowed to add theirs.

Vocal deep house can be a bit poppy, but music is about a vibe; and this is proper party music.https://soundcloud.com/noisysoundss/all-i-need-the-best-of-vocal-deep-house-music-summer-mix-2018-beautiful-compilation …

80’s lyrics plus female vocals plus bass is a formula that works.https://soundcloud.com/funkagenda/lorde-everybody-wants-to-rule-the-world-funkagenda-alex-dimou-remix …

I don’t listen to only “House,” which today is everything from pop edm to techno. If you have guests coming over, play this.https://soundcloud.com/holychill/holy-chill-mixtape-4 …

People get emotional about their musical “choices.” In quotes because choosing what “the radio” offers you isn’t meaningful discernment. Most of you are listening to the musical equivalent of cargo shorts.

You’re 41 and listen to house music and want to belittle people for listening to rock and roll? You’re an odd person.
-
Age & music aren't proportional.

it’s twitter, not everything is that serious and sometimes people forget that. Have a little fun.

Agree this stuff is good party / background music but hard to believe the stones, Clapton, bob marley, Nirvana are all products of some record exec conspiracy. And there’s always been a way for bands to reach commercial popularity by touring hard.

Nothing beats late 60’s- early 70’s music. The Beatles, The Stones, CCR, Hendrix, The Who etc. Amazing artists and I wasn’t even born yet.
-
That was an amazing era, the talent pool was deep and if you were a) musically talented and b) worked your tail off, you got to be a real rock star in the heyday of rock stars. Bred so many great bands and much timeless music.

Mike, I like every genre. Dad was a musician for 40+ years and I’m one as well. I was never limited to the “airwaves.” But I hear your point.
-
I understand your sentiment. As a kid who grew up playing music it was nice to have a variety and it wasn't limited to airwaves. But I'm older and luckier to remember as a kid we only had AM and top 40 hits were fun and interesting. So much music to appreciate. :-)

Thankfully, Cernovich, there's a lot of quality music online on YouTube and Soundcloud now that folks CAN choose to listen to. Check out some aggregation channels like HDSoundi, The Prime Thanatos, New Retrowave, and so on, on YouTube, for example.
