I know a kid doing 7 years. He had passed out drunk in the back of a friend's car. Driver was drunk, hit and killed a pedestrian. Driver and third friend in car fled the scene and agreed to blame the kid. He gets out in a few weeks.
Everyone has done something that, but a twist of fate, would have landed them in prison.
