Personal experience. I didn't have kids until my mid 30's... I was a bit of a hound as well. As someone who's seen both sides of the coin? Only one side produces genuine happiness. The deeper irony is that living a single life almost always leads to a mid-life crisis.

After reading the second sentence I was certain the tweet was impying that "lusts of the flesh" lead to children and, therefore, raising a family. So I stopped reading at that point and will now believe it to be true.
