Killing someone in jail is easy. Occam's Razor suggests that Jeffrey Epstein was murdered. Suicide in jail is easy. Occam's Razor suggests that Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide. People who toss around Occam's Razor to explain a complicated simulation = morons.
If you're going to use Occam's razor to explain Epstein, then point us to numerous examples of serial predators committing suicide. Serial predators almost never commit suicide. Therefore, "suicide" is *not* a simple explanation let alone the simplest.
Epstein was far too self-assured and narcissistic to kill himself. He believed he was going to get off the hook, and told people close to him that he was feeling good about his chances.
Also, the last time Epstein faced these charges all he got was a few months in overnight lockup.
Sex offenders, especially wealthy ones, have a higher rate of suicide than other inmates. Epstein fit the mold perfectly. The debate should be around why he was taken off suicide watch

I also think he wasnt just an average Joe who got busted with kiddy porn and may have nothing to live for. He was very wealthy and powerful. Some may argue thats all the more reason he’d kill himself. I say hes an arrogant narcissist and those types dont often commit suicide

Scott Adams used that argument. He didn’t say Occam’s razor but said killing himself was the simplest answer. Given everyone predicted he would be “suicided” and he was so high profile Occam”s razor doesn’t apply.

I don’t necessarily disagree with your broader point, but ur logic may be flawed, in that your substituting “commonly occurring” for “simplest explanation”. O.R. isn’t about the “mode” in a set of data, it’s about what makes the least amount of assumptions to explain an event
