One of you claimed The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind was Neal Stephenon's inspiration for Snow Crash. The "voices of god" and language as firmware certainly suggest this to be true. Anyhow, good book rec, whoever you are, Twitter person.
